I'm taking my family to visit the Hilltop during the week after Christmas and my 7 year old twins have asked if they can meet Jack [the canine one] while they're there. I know he lives on campus. Is there any way we can arrange an audience?
If it can be arranged, my true-blue-and-gray daughters will be even more true-blue-and-gray. [And I will get to look like a hero to my children, which, of course, is the coolest present a parent could ever ask for. ]

Im sure there is a way to get in touch with the jesuit that owns him and visit him, but i do know that he is, for most of the day, in the Jes Res just sleeping in the lobby.
i think there is someone on this board who is/was in the "jack crew" so they will know more

you can e-mail the jack crew at jackthebulldog@georgetown.edu and ask whether something can be arranged.

You could also try contacting Father Steck.
"When not occupied with his mascot duties, Jack passes his days resting in the lobby of the Jesuit Residence and the evenings at his apartment in New South (which he shares with Fr. Steck, S.J., Associate Professor in the Department of Theology)."

Interesting to think of Jack lying there in the lobby watching the spiritual and intellectual sons of The Founder come and go.
The embodiment of the students' 'animal spirits', a group for the most part unimpressed with nought but action, he waitsimpassively for a reason to wag his tail.
In my day, it was the guy driving the Lowenbrau truck.
