The team is obviously better year over year, and one way we are better is our shot efficiency. The eight highest in conference scorers each year, sorted by points scored per shot attempt ('04-'05 players in bold):
Crawford 04-05 1.43 (14 FGA) Bowman 04-05 1.17 (118) Green 04-05 1.15 (111) Cook 04-05 1.12 (114) Wallace 04-05 1.07 (61) Riley 03-04 1.07 (214) Kilkenny-Diaw 03-04 1.02 (17) Owens 03-04 1.01 (112) Bowman 03-04 1.00 (226) Owens 04-05 1.00 (55) Hibbert 04-05 0.98 (41) Freeman 03-04 0.93 (114) Reed 04-05 0.89 (19) Reed 03-04 0.84 (48) Cook 03-04 0.83 (154) Causey 03-04 0.52 (27)

wow. this is a great little statistic and maybe the one of the biggest differences between these past seasons. It just goes to show that JT3's offense works. If you slow it and control the pace with good looks then you can be more efficient while teams in BE, not used to the pace, will have a harder time getting their moneys worth on less possesions. Wow this really helped me understand our success
