Congratulations to: * bigelephant, who predicted a score of 81-63, only 3 points off the actual score of Georgetown 83, Mt St Mary's 62, and one point off the actual spread of 21.
Honorable mention to: * HoyaSinceBirth, AltoSaxa, and yours truly for tying for second place with predictions of 85-59, 84-66, and 80-60, respectively, all only 5 points off the actual. * hoyainspirit, the only poster who correctly predicted the actual spread of 21.
Dishonorable mention to: *freemoney, who lamented that "the median prediction is like 85" and the Hoyas' final score was 83.
Onto the cross-town American Univeristy Eagles, this Saturday 12/5 at 4pm at the Phone Booth, who are 0-7 (going into tonight's matchup against also 0-7 Howard).
PREDICTIONS
Patrick Ewing: 85 Kermit Washington: 55
or
Swift Potomac's Lovely Daughter: 85 Former chemical weapons dump: 55
GO HOYAS!! GROUND THE EAGLES!!!

GU 85 AU 55
Assuming that the starters see very little action in the second half. Could be worse if we leave them in.
(Note: In defense of my last prediction, that game was played at an obscene pace. Fastest paced-game the Hoyas have played since January 5, 2006 and significantly faster than any other game this season. Hoyas also did not have more than 60 FGA in a regulation game in all of last season... we took 69 last night)

Assistant Coach Robert Burke 2009-Present: 50 Assistant Coach Robert Burke 2004-2009: 87
Other prediction: -Hopefully a weekend crowd of around 10,000 or more, I thought the crowd for Mt. St. Mary's was pretty weak. Let's make it a little louder on Saturday, students and otherwise.

It was very noticeable that the team got up and down the floor much more last night that I generally recalled from the past.

Georgetown: 100 Wishes they were Georgetown: 50
AU appears to be considerably worse than Lafayette. They're 0-7 and two of the teams that beat them have lost every game besides the American game. If they don't beat howard tonight or dramatically improve they might go winless this season. Sheesh did they not get any recruits off of back to back ncaa appearances?
