The 2010 class is more or less signed, with only Roscoe or spring commits to come. Roscoe would be fantastic, so I will sort of semi-include him below.
2010-11
The core of next year's team is in place. Barring unforeseen departures, we will have a very deep backcourt. Hollis will step to solidify the 3 and Lubick will take the third spot I. The big man rotation. Roscoe woul add significant depth to the 3/4. The only spring sign I see likely would be a Monroe replacement bu this class is big-light.
In short, next year is still going to rely on the classes of '07 and '08.
2011-2012
Clark, Vee and Markel, along with likely a 2011 guard, hold the backcourt. Hollis and possibly Roscoe hold the wings. Where we are thin is down low. I expect 2 bigs depending on Roscoe, but it is still Sims, Lubick and 2 frosh.
The depth isn't awful excet down low (and JK or TM weren't really helping that). The issue may be - is there a star there?
It's hard to project further, but that seems to be the bigger question. We are gettng very good players, and missing on a few guys hasn't really hurt that. But whether they are highly ranked like Greg or not like Jeff or Roy, you need some stars.
2012-2013
This is where the small size of the last two classes could come back to haunt us. Markel, Nate and Hollis will all be juinors, but either the 2011 and 2012 classes better be good or the team won't have much else. Even if we get two god players on each class we might be functioning with only six or so players.
If Roscoe were still around, he would have a huge impact.
