sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=4620949This brought a smile to my face. "Then Christopher Johnson responded with his sixth 3-pointer of the game, which came from the left side after Syracuse's Kris Joseph backed off defensively."

And this...
"Le Moyne really outplayed us from the beginning of the game to the end," Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim said. "They [the Orange] are very, very young mentally."
Couldn't have put it better myself, Jim.

No shame in losing to a powerhouse like Le Moyne at home.

Lest we forget that John Beilein coached at LeMoyne. If only they had a 7 footer...

Couldn't have put it better myself, Jim. As a coach, wouldn't you refer to your own team in the first person "We are very, very young mentally" rather than using "They"?

I agree. It would appear at first glance that Boeheim was thoroughly outcoached in this one.

"The Dolphins, who repeatedly took advantage of Syracuse's man-to-man defense with drives and back-door cuts,..."
Hopefully when they play us they still won't have learned the zone.

Whether you're a Democrat or Republican, this has to be by far the best result of the night.

I actually caught part of the game......despite being smaller at every position, le moyne simply played smarter and at one point was actually out rebouding the cuse with jackson, onuwaku, and riley in the game.
Btw, deshonte riley = deer in headlights

Whether you're a Democrat or Republican, this has to be by far the best result of the night. Doesn't it bother anyone else that a school in central NY State has a dolphin for their mascot?!? And they beat a local rival named after a citrus fruit. Let's all just agree to stop taking any inspiration from the obvious lunatics up there.

In light of this result, as well as 'Cuse's defeat at the hands of Cleveland State last season, Jimmy B. will be making some slight adjustments to future schedules to help with his team's self-esteem. Expect next year's All-Empire State non-conference slate to include SUNY Maritime, the Fashion Institute of Technology, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Baruch College, and Regis High School. A home-and-home with the SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry is pending.

Nothing like S'acuse losing to a DII school to get the competitive juices flowing.
For the first of many times this year: S'acuse Sucks!

As for SUNY-ESF, it's located entirely on Cuse's campus and it's students stay at their dorms and are for all intents and purposes Orangmen. As their only sports are of the lumberjack variety, they are the enemy (my brother went there). Also, it's great that SU isn't the best college team in the city of Syracuse.
