That's a new one actually...nice to see us on the upswing.
Nice to see our game @nd as a game of the week.

No, it's still an old one. They update it piecemeal, which is sort of bizarre. Our "team summary" is updated to reflect where we will be seeded. We're a 7 this week, playing St. Mary's in the Chicago bracket:
7 Georgetown vs. 10 St. Mary's Georgetown 16-6 (8-3) St. Mary's 18-7 (7-3)
Georgetown Everyone keeps telling me the Hoyas are going to fade. But, even with a modest decline, this team is solidly in the NCAA field.
Why seeded here? Hoyas more likely a No. 7 than last week's No. 7. No reason to infer anything from that.
May change because: Three of next four on the road. All three vs. InsideRPI Top 50 teams.
Good Wins RPI 1-25: @villanova RPI 26-50: Notre Dame
Bad Losses RPI 101-200: N-Oral Roberts RPI 201+: None

Good wins doesn't include @pitt apparently
Interesting...
I guess Pitt must not be a tourney team...oh wait ESPN picked them as a 5 seed. Huh? They are either a good win or they ain't in the tourney...can't have both jackasses.

Interesting that the lowest BE seed is an 8 (ND). I think Pitt may be a little high with a 5 seed.

That's so odd. I swear to god I checked and he had us as a #6 seed playing Southern Ill in Charlotte. He must be making changes on the fly.
Based on our record and RPI right now #7 is probably right.
I still don't understand why people have Pitt so high. Just makes no sense to me based on the profile.

He definitely had us as a six seed earlier today. I just figured that was last week's bracket.
Of course, any seed at all this season would be pretty awesome, but I'd like to avoid slipping to the 8/9 game. I'd rather be a 10-12 than an 8 or 9. The 1 seeds this year are nasty, and then there's a significant dropoff.

Ok, several things I don't get
1) Why are we "falling"? We won this week.
2) Why is Duke a steady 2 seed? The loss to Maryland has to outweigh beating UNC at Cameron.
3) Texas Tech a steady six seed? With an RPI of 42 coming off a loss to Iowa State?
4) Minnesota making it to the dance with an RPI of 60? Coming off two losses? I don't see it happening. B/c Ohio State is banned, the B10 may only get three bids this year.
One thing I like:
Our only "bad loss" is to ORU, who very well may get the Mid Continent berth. That helps us some.

We just don't want #8 or #9. I have to say #6 or #7 isn't much different. There's a lot more potential to hit a weak #2 or #3 (or upset thereof). That 8/9 is tough. It's an even game and you get a #1 seed who walked in the first round.

Our only "bad loss" is to ORU And that loss was way back in mid-December. Doesn't count as much.

Even though we've won three in a row our RPI has fallen with each win. Those three games KILLED us in terms of SOS. Oh well.
based on our RPI and the fact that a #7 equates to the #25-#28 team in the country I'd have to say that's right on target.

I don't give a crap what seed we get. I'll take a #13 if that's the way we get in. I'm just overjoyed at the thought of seeing Georgetown in the bracket again.....

Probably because their SOS (and even splitting these games, their RPI) is in the process of a huge escalation -- thanks to the following games @ Cuse @ Nova v. WVU v. UConn @ BC @ Notre Dame

They are either a good win or they ain't in the tourney...can't have both jackasses. Good wins appear to be wins over teams in the RPI top 50. I don't believe Pitt is in the top 50 right now.

GeorgetownEveryone keeps telling me the Hoyas are going to fade. But, even with a modest decline, this team is solidly in the NCAA field. Why is this? People are not believers yet? Still believe we have done it with mirrors?
