The women will run in the women's blue race tomorrow in Indiana. The competition: 12:20 pm - Women Blue (37 Teams)
Air Force, Arizona, Auburn, Butler, Central Michigan, Colorado, Dayton, Eastern Kentucky, Florida State, Georgetown, Harvard, Iona, Iowa, Iowa State, James Madison, Kansas State, Liberty, Louisville, Loyola (IL), Marquette, Miami (OH), Michigan State, Mississippi, Nebraska, NC State, Ohio University, Oregon, Oregon State, Rice, Southern Utah, Stanford, Toledo, Tulsa, UC-Davis, UTEP, Vanderbilt, Western Kentucky,
Stanford, Oregon, and Colorado are always tough. The women were 5th in the white race last year, so they figure to go anywhere from 4th to 7th tomorrow.
The lineup for the women will be seven of these 12:
1. Lauren Borduin 2. Lauren Gregory 3. Meaghan Gregory 4. Emily Infeld 5. Emily Jones 6. Kristen Kasper 7. Natasha LaBeaud 8. Kelsey Malmquist 9. Katie McCafferty 10. Lise Ogrodnick 11. Rachel Schneider 12. Marcie Sobrinski
Katie McCafferty has not run this year. If she runs and is in good shape, the Hoyas should get top four.

You called it Nevada--the women finished 4th and beat stanford. They should improve a bit as i'd bet McCafferty still has a lot of upside vs her performance at pre nats.
Too bad the hoyas lost freshman caroline King as a transfer to BC--she is BC's top runner and would have been top 2-4 at Gtwn--the team would have had a shot at top 5 at the NCAA with her-i didn't think she was that good but has been tearing it up for BC where her sister runs.

Too bad about Jillian King. But the women did well finishing 4th and beating Stanford.
The top five: 1. Colorado 94 2. Florida State 135 3. Oregon 169 4. Georgetown 200 5. Stanford 206
For the Hoyas 9. Emily Infeld 20:45.1 (6K course) 22. Emily Jones 21:10.8 41. Natasha LaBeaud 21:30.4 48. Katie McCafferty 21:33.6 80. Kristen Kasper 21:54.8 95. Rachel Schneider 22:02.2 110. Lauren Gregory 22:10.7
If Katie can improve (she should be up with the Emilys), and Lauren Gregory can show that talent honed from running the steeplechase, the Hoyas should be set.

The women should move up to at least 11th (from 13th) and possibly 10th. More importantly this race should seal their at-large bid into the NCAA champs.

If you combined the blue and the white races today, the women would have finished 7th, beating three teams ranked ahead of them, and one team (Colorado) that was ranked behind them beat them.
