The Georgetown University men's basketball team announced times and television appearances for its 2009-10 schedule, with the Hoyas appearing on television at least 25 times, including two games on CBS and 13 games appearing on the ESPN Networks.
Among 25 televised games, the Hoyas will appear twice on CBS, first on Jan. 30 when GU plays Duke at Verizon Center, and again on Feb. 27 in a BIG EAST Conference matchup with Notre Dame.
The Hoyas will play on ESPN six times - at home against Temple on Nov. 17 at 4 p.m.; against Butler in the Jimmy V Classic on Dec. 8; at home against Connecticut on Jan. 9 at noon; at Syracuse on Jan. 25 at 7 p.m.; against Villanova at Verizon Center on Feb. 6 at noon; and at West Virginia on March 1 at 7 p.m.
Other games to be broadcast on the ESPN Networks include the BIG EAST Conference opener against St. John's on Dec. 31 (ESPN2, 8 p.m.), at home against Seton Hall on Jan. 14 (ESPN/ESPN2, 7 p.m.), at Pittsburgh on Jan. 20 (ESPNU, 7 p.m.), at Providence on Feb. 9 (ESPN2, 7 p.m.), against Syracuse at home on Feb. 18 (ESPN/ESPN2, 7 p.m.), at Louisville on Feb. 23 (ESPN2, 7 p.m.) and against Cincinnati on March 6 (E360, noon).
Several conference games will be broadcast as part of the BIG EAST Network on MASN - at DePaul on Jan. 3 at 2 p.m., at Marquette on Jan. 6 at 8 p.m., at Villanova on Jan. 17 at noon, at home against Rutgers on Jan. 23 at noon, against USF on Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. and at Rutgers on Feb. 14 at 4 p.m.
Three non-league games will be broadcast on MASN. The Hoyas will host Lafayette on Nov. 28 at noon and then appear on MASN again on Nov. 30 against Mount St. Mary's at 7:30 p.m. Georgetown's only game of the season at McDonough Arena, the Dec. 19 7 p.m. tilt with Old Dominion, will also be televised by MASN.
Two other home games - against American on Dec. 5 at Verizon Center and against Harvard on Dec. 23 at Verizon Center - will be broadcast on the Georgetown Athletics website,

Georgetown's game against Washington in the John Wooden Classic on Dec. 12 will appear on Fox Sports.
