Great win for the Hoyas on Saturday, but I am surprised that there has been so little talk about another fine performance from Roy Hibbert. In 19 minutes he scored 8 points on 3 of 4 shooting, pulled down 4 boards, had three blocks, and three steals. The one bad is the four turnovers, but he was hardly alone in that department. He gave us a big life in the first half, and WVU really had no answer for him.

YOU ARE RIGHT roy got lost in the shuffle and critical to the win his turnovers and the fact pittsnoggle went out to shoot some threes left him outa the seond half plan but when hibb gets stonger... he lost a few balls on weak hands but his passing hands are great... when he gets stronger watch out bigeast and the world go hibbs go hoyas beat nd may need hibbs vs that torin francis guy and latimer go hoyas

I don't think Big Roy can ever get lost in the shuffle. Well, unless you're WVU leaving him unguarded for a jam.
It's ND week so we'll see a lot of Ashanti and Roy highlights on classic but those two guys are sweet 3rd and 4th options. The fact that they tend to get overlooked for solid games is a testament to how much it's become expected of them and of course, how good the 1-2 of Jeff-Brandon is.
It's amazing how quietly Cook can be top 20 in Big East scoring and #6 in 3-pt shooting. And for Roy, he just causes tons of problems for teams.
I can't wait to see the ND dunk 400+ times this week by the way. It just never gets old.

i have to say - watching roy at the top of the key and driving in for the lay-in, while not exactly graceful, was a sight to see...just really impressed at his moxie - bodes well for his development when he gets stronger and more comfortable with the college game because the physical attributes and the fire is definitely there...
