KG: since you appear to have taken an overdose of cranky pills, I'll indulge in a reply: 1. the only Boston aspect of the article that I linked is that it appeared in a Boston paper and was an interview with the Boston Celtics coach, who not coincidentally happens to be the father of a former Georgetown player and of the '10 recruit in question. Yes, I live in Boston. Get over it. Frankly, you'd have a better argument by complaining that this is not a Florida forum as the post/article has nothing to do with Boston. 2. The recruit in question is thought to be one of the top PGs in the '10 class. He previously committed to Florida and there has been a lot of internet chatter basically accusing him of heading towards reneging on that - this article refutes (at least at the current time) that. 3. The recruit in question has been the subject of a lengthy prior thread on this very forum that devolved into a partially-related poster-poster flame fight. I could have posted this there but chose not to so as to attempt to not revive that. The recruit in question has also been mentioned multiple times in a second prior thread in this recruiting forum.

Well, I haven't taken any of my cranky pills today (which sometimes makes me even more cranky), but none of those answers indicates what this story has to do with Georgetown.

The description of this forum says "Discussion of recruiting and prospects by class." My second post above speaks for itself.

Not that Dan needs counsel, but doesn't this quote from Bob Ryan's piece establish the requisite Georgetown nexus?
"Doc has been here before. Austin’s older brother, Jeremiah, was also a highly recruited player. He started out at Georgetown but transferred after his sophomore year to Indiana, where he will play for Tom Crean this winter. The Jeremiah Rivers reality is that, while he’s a good defender, he has been a very shaky shooter."

Tell me you were being sarcastic...
"Indiana guard Jeremiah Rivers led the Hoosiers with 15 points in a loss to Loyola (MD).
Rivers was 6 of 10 from the field but finished 3 of 9 from the line, including four crucial misses down the stretch. He also added five rebounds, four assists, and three steals. The points were a season high for Rivers, but that type of scoring won't be typical."

The funny thing is austin's shot is not great. It must run in the family. It's better than Jerimiah's but it still needs a lot of work.
