Good for BB! Better later than never... Don't know what the 76s need, but looks like Swift is his only competition for a roster spot. Good luck!

how many people can a team have on it's roster? what are his chances of making the real team and not being in the NBDL again? the grizzlies used to play in Vancouver?

I'm pretty sure he would have signed a non-guaranteed training camp contract which is nothing more than a tryout with great pay - hopefully he can make the roster (max 15 players)

Actually, Dionte Christmas probably has a better shot than all of those guys. He's younger, a hometown kid who played HS and college in the city, and he's the only one of those guys that possesses a talent that's a dire need for the Sixers. Shooting. He's arguably a better shooter than anyone already on their roster.

Well they arent native to Memphis! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ursus_arctos_horribilis_map.svg at least not currently. Also, have you heard that the Jazz used to play in New Orleans? Mind blowing

The NBA is full of transplanted nicknames:
Minneapolis Los Angeles Lakers
New Orleans Utah Jazz
Vancouver Memphis Grizzlies
San Diego Houston Rockets
San Diego Los Angeles Clippers
Milwaukee St. Louis Atlanta Hawks
Ft. Wayne Detroit Pistons
Kansas City KC-Omaha Sacramento Kings
New York New Jersey Nets
Philadelphia Golden State Warriors
Charlotte New Orleans Hornets
Of the eight teams that survived the 1940's, only two (Knicks, Celtics) have their original names and/or did not relocate.

At least Detroit Pistons makes sense. And though it's off point, before the Clippers sailed in San Diego, they were the Buffalo Braves. At least I think that was the nickname.
Good luck BoBo!

Was Bowman an underachiever as a Hoya? Was he not utilized properly? I recognized some similarity between Bowman and Robert Churchwell. There game imo was similar. Go Hoyas!
