Meh, not my first choice, but not bad either.
I agree with whoever it was that said that maybe we should keep the front of the shirt the same, but next year ditch the slogan and keep the III in the middle with the players' numbers around it. But we'll see what the powers that be think, it ain't up to us. It is fun to bitch about the slogan year after year.

Thanks for the congrats, I'm away on business and have had limited access to personal internet use so I had no idea other than a text message that I didn't understand at the time.
As for the creativity aspect of things, I wasn't inspired by any other school - but its quite possible that I saw it somewhere and thought it was cool subconsciously and that factored into sending it in. I honestly didn't think it would win. I know we always disagree about the slogan each year - what really matters to me is that the new students getting the shirts think its cool - it's really for them anyways.

My concern is that it begs the question, "what about the present tense?"
In hard times, possibilties such as, " ... but you can chill for now," may suggest themselves.
Last season may be over but until we win games, last season's ugly streak is not over.

Yikes - sorry but that slogan is pretty weak. Maybe it's time to take a year off from these shirts.
