Bethel made a driving layup with under 10 secs to pull out a win vs. GTech. Bethel chucked a few threes along the way, but Tech continues to look weak.
I cannot imagine having Bethel on our team at this point. I wasn't mad or sad that he left, but I certainly don't miss him.

i wish him the best. i bet he does think about what it would have been like if he had stayed. he might even be kicking himself over leaving and not playing for a team that looks like it is headed to the tournament rather than playing for a team that has underachieved massivly this season.
GO HOYAS!

I think he is probably ambivalent. On the one hand, he plays for another crappy team going to the NIT. On the other, he didn't have to endure last year. I guess his thinking probably depends on how NC State does next year.

more importantly, Tony knocked off a team that we're competing against to break into the top 25

Tony probably transferred for the right reasons...we had a coach taking the program in the wrong direction and he didn't want to be a part of it.
If anything, his defection was another example to the administration and the public that something was wrong with the program, and ultimately a change was made.
So I don't blame Tony, nor would I take back anything that has happened. It seems everything worked out for both sides. Especially us.
