Now I'm really confused as to how Giselle Bunschednednen (and Bridget Moynahan for that matter) got pregnant. Katie Holmes may have answers.

Yeah, this is my fear as well. While I have immense respect for the Patriots and Steelers (came to like the Pats during my time in Boston), the Chargers have been my favorite AFL/C team since the league was formed, and they were the Los Angeles Chargers. My only faith in Turner is that he will somehow foul things up. In a hypothetical Vikings-Chargers Super Bowl, who gets outcoached--Norv or Childress? Some Charger supporter breaks into Norv's hotel room and locks him in the bathroom. The Chargers go on to a three touchdown victory without their coach.

I just got back from one of those games.... 37-0 in 14 degrees.... NY JETS! Rookie QB, #1 ranked rushing team and.. most importantly, the #1 ranked Defense. As everyone knows, the JETs will disappoint more often than not, so JET fans really know how to appreciate a victory. Especially at the final game at the old Giants Stadium at the Meadowlands in subfreezing temps! Next Sat, we have GU v. UCONN at Noon, and JETS v. Cincy at 4:30. What a sports day! Of course, the Bengals will actually try to win next weekend. So that was the Bengals trying to win? JETS 24 Bengals 14

One other thing about Belichek, Wilfork aand Brady - they have three Super Bowl rings, too.

I gotta say, the horrible feelings I had after the Giants' season ended have been made better by seeing the Eagles and Pats dismantled. Schaudenfreude is underrated.

The J-E-T-S are well positioned versus San Merino.

the refs really f-ed up that game yesterday. larry fitzgerald flat out mugs charles woodson twice on obvious offensive PI pebalties, no call. rodgers gets facemasked blatantly on the last play of the game, no call, even though they called the same thing on GB on a warner TD to fitzgerald earlier int he game. typical nfl officiating during the playoffs.

Amazing to me that both Cowboy Troy and Joe Schmuck missed Rodgers near decapitation on the final play. Cardinals DB had Rodgers facemask all the way from standing to the ground and never let go.
Fox obviously had to get right to that Simpsons' special.
However, inasmuch as Tubby Mcnabb air-strummed his dumb ass out of the playoffs yet again, all is quite well.

And yet, I don't care, b/c I LOVED watching Green Bay lose on such a gut punch play. Pure amazing. That Dom Capers defense sure was a thing of beauty. ;D ;D

While I maintain that Belichick is Satan and that Vince Wilfork is the dirtiest player in the league, you know, you just can't stay mad at that Tom Brady guy, can you? He is a class act all the way. I am simply grateful that he managed to have the worst game of his entire career yesterday. Doubt it will happen again.
I give the Ravens a solid puncher's chance against the Colts, but not much more than that. They should be able to run on them pretty well, but I'm not sure the Ravens secondary can pull another perfect performance like yesterday against Payton Manning. If Manning is hitting, it will be a long night for Baltimore. But I can always hope.
Everyone talks about how well the Jets will match up, and they do, but I also expect San Diego to win that game. It actually seems like a fairly similar matchup to Ravens-Colts, except the Jets defense is a lot better in the secondary. Still, I can't see the upset here.....except for the fact that Norv Turner is on one of the sidelines.
I'm not seeing Dallas coming out of Minnesota with a win. I think they were fortunate to draw Philly in the first round and Minnesota will have their way with them (again, head coach notwithstanding).
The biggest upset potential is see is, unfortunately, the one I least want to see. Watch out New Orleans, Kurt Warner is looking scary good again.
As TMQ likes to say, all predictions wrong or your money back.

Is Belichick coaching the Vikings? For shame - running up the score on the hapless Cowboys!
