Love to see the Hoyas envolved with Mississippi star 6-8 shooting guard LaQuinton Ross of Jackson Murrah. Mississippi use to be recruiting ground for JTII.

I remember being involved with him in the past, but is there an update?

"Speaking about Syracuse, Ross told NBE that he would likely visit the Orange this August and that SU is “mainly the one in the Big East I like.” Ross also made a point to say he is “really wide open” in the recruiting process."

IMO he has been the biggest disappointment so far at the Reebok camp. I really liked him last year. I know he is coming off an injury, but he looks awful. I hope he turns it around.

If he likes Syracuse then I don't really care if he ever turns it around. Hey....just being honest.

There is a reason that none of us have spent anytime posting about him. His game has fallen off dramatically since last winter when he played well in DC. He is 100% from the high ankle sprain, but his game is basically like summers/donte greene, and the rest of the tall SFs that just want to be carmelo. One dimensional

If Ross is going to be another Carmelo, I will take him now. Go Hoyas!

I wouldn't mind a one-and-done with a NCAA championship.

to Ohio State.
Ohio State also has been recruiting Sam Thompson and Hood (not on list recently) for that 3 spot.

Ross to Ohio State is good news for us, assuming we ever getting around to offering Thompson. Also, Anthony Davis to Kentucky puts Ohio State out of the picture for a package deal with Davis/Thompson.
