Unfortunately Nodak never got the chance to remix the Black Eyed Peas for him.
Good luck Omar, may you play like your pants are on fire always

What a Wattaded decision, if it was all his decision. He's never going to be good enough to earn a living playing basketball, so he should have enjoyed the ride and completed his work toward a Georgetown degree. Just an outsider's view I know, but hopefully there is more to it than the typical overinflated sense of self that often drives transfer decisions.

Curious, to say the least. Then again, he was obviously unhappy/discontented in the program, so I'll just assume that the move will be good for team cohesion.

Dear Omar,
I'll always imagine you putting up three pointers, then leaving the arm up, fingers pointed, tongue out, jogging to get back on D. And I'll always remember that 29% of the time, it didn't look ridiculous.

What a Wattaded decision, if it was all his decision. He's never going to be good enough to earn a living playing basketball He's transferring, not going pro. There's a huge difference.

I think you missed the point, TC. He's obviously never going to go pro. So, why transfer to what most likely will be a subpar school (delaware, towson to name some of the previous transfer schools) when you can continue playing on this team and getting a georgetown degree, for free?

I think he should go to Indiana--they could play with 6 on the court, as no one would be able to definitively tell the difference between Rivers and Wattad. Or...maybe he's going to an Ivy school--he was just using Georgetown as an Ivy JuCo, and two years of Georgetown could have been enough to bump him up to fulfill their admissions standards. This could be called the "Ivanka Trump transfer."

I hate this news. I had really hoped for Wattad to see important minutes next year. What a weird turn of events- at one point, Wattad seems to have a lot of favor with the staff, then he sees little times, and at the end of the year he transfers. Too bad- he could have helped the program.

Because we have no idea why he is transferring. Maybe he wants to be closer to home or has a sick relative. Or maybe because there are other good academic institutions in America where he might have a better shot of playing basketball as well. Who knows what his reasons are, but since you don't know what they are or where he is going, why speculate and criticize?

Wattad (TBD), Macklin (Florida), Rivers (Indiana), Spann (Marshall), Egerson (Delaware), Thornton (Towson), Reed (CS-Fullerton), Guibanda (American) are the transfers during JT3's tenure. Now, they could've all transferred for various reasons- they didn't like Georgetown, wanted to be closer to home, etc. But you've gotta assume most of them are transferring because the basketball program didn't fit their playing style, or they didn't like the lack of playing time. If that's the case, you've gotta question their decision- you are never going to play professional basketball ever, so why not stay and get a degree from an impressive institution?
Hoya TMF- If they're transferring for a reason other than basketball, clearly you can't criticize them. My argument is IF they are transferring because of the basketball program, it seems to be a pretty poor choice for these reasons.
