LOL Jerry Myers kinda ruined the suspense of the announcement. I can't help but feel bad for Seton Hall in this, its like a 1-2 knock out punch between the collapse of the BE and loosing out on KA.

I really wish he would've just cut us off his list a couple weeks ago if we never really had a shot. Im bitter.

And might I add...
It has got to be soo damn frustrating to be a head basketball coach of a major D1 program and give so much time and effort to cater to the whims of 15, 16 and 17-year old kids but have nothing to show for all of the effort. Can't feel too bad, since they get paid quite handsomely for the effort, though.
Hats off to JTIII and staff for doing everything they could to get KA to GU. He would have really been perfect here. His loss, but I have no complaints about the kid (other than his not coming to GU!) and how he handled everything.

I feel like we were strung along for too long. I think the whole time it really was gonna be SHU or UCLA. He should've trimmed his list.

Too bad for Kyle. He missed out on GU where he would have fit best! OK, sit back, pour yourself a scotch, relax, and get back at it tomorrow. GU has a very exciting young team RIGHT NOW! And we are still on a ton of great kids. Great effort by JT3 and staff. WE ARE ___ ___ GEORGETOWN!!

This just doesn't make any sense. In July Adam Zagoria told me that Kyle was down to Seton Hall and St. John's. Then a few weeks ago some dude from a St. John's website come on here with a bunch of "facts" about why the Redmen were in such great position.
Hey remember the good ol' days when UCLA got a verbal from the point guard from the Oakland Soldiers, Artis, and it some saw it as a sign that Howland knew he was out of the KA sweepstakes?

And mother nature. I think Hurricane Irene stranded Kyle on the West Coast for longer than intended.

Congrats to the Bruins--and it's a good fit for Kyle as a player--he'll do well there.
As for Spread Sheet Swamp Ass and Seton Hall "insiders"---while I share your misery over happenings with Big East--your sources were full of crap and you didn't know a damn thing more then anyone else. In recruiting--kids often tell you what you want to hear, but if you believe it--and spend time stalking/sending goblins to hound him--you get what you deserve. Eat it.

Looking forward to seeing Kyle a lot on TV playing for my second favorite team, but still wish he had chosen to be a Hoya.

with the good people of HoyaSaxa.
Tell Bronxitos STAT! If the Anderson Family (love that last name) was keeping it so close to vest how did people know he was favoring UCLA and that we had no chance? How does that leak and why does that leak?
Gracias mis gentes.

Will we ever know?
Could it have been that Kyle wanted to go to UCLA all along to be with his pal, but one or both of his parents wanted him to go somewhere else or anywhere else to stay closer to home. Could some people have been privy to what was happening and leaked out what they were hearing? Could it be that Kyle and his family finally had their tete-a-tete on the evening of the 19th and Kyle finally got his way, which would explain why he was unable to say where he was going prior to that?
Could we forget about Kyle and his decision now?
