I'm just trying to increase the number of people that take the survey to help out the Athletic Department, what's wrong with that? This is truly beyond me.

Can we peg the survey to the top or something?
In addition to the survey, I've been invited to participate in a focus group prior to the WVU game on Saturday. Anyone else get the invite?

I think pinning it to the top would be a good idea.

Why was I not chosen to be in the focus group? I mean, being 2500 miles away should not automatically disqualify me...

I've "stickied" the survey thread so it doesn't roll off later.....Keep up the great work fomenting enthusiasm for the program.....

Cam - any notes/impressions from the focus group? It was 15-20 people, a good mix of young and long-time ticket holders. Mostly focused on the in-game experience, and what can be done to make it better/more enjoyable/the best home court it can be. There was also some discussion of the ticketing process, both for season tickets and buying individual game tickets. One of the big issues was reaching out to "potential fans" in the area. Apparently, there are something like 1200 alumni season ticket holders, but 40,000+ alumni live in a 50-mile radius (numbers are off the top of my head, but it's something like that). If we can even get to 15% of that population, that would be an immense help in creating a better atmosphere/home court.

As a local alumni without season tickets, and as a "seasoned" citizen, we need to get the basketball office to start offering packages that are not season tickets. For instance, how about a package of only the home weekend games so us "seniors" don't find ourselves wandering around DC too late at night. Or, other "packages", perhaps tying together two OOC and three BE games; or a "package" of five BE games. Or, whatever? The single game or season tickets as the only options is not the best way to build fandom.
