Crean is a good coach. Marquette will be a good addition to the BE, except for the fact that we have FAR too many teams!

People are starting to wonder about Crean a little bit now that three of his recruiting classes in a row have been pretty lousy. They've also had players transferring out of there on an Esherickian level.
He's never made the NCAA tournament without Dwayne Wade.

If he has kids leaving like Esh did, that's a really bad sign. I was not aware of that. I know they are having a tough year... I guess we'll have to see.
As for the D Wade comment, maybe Crean will be like Mike "the genius" Shanahan, who never seemed quite as smart after Elway retired.

Tanner Boyle is a good player - little, but scrappy. Engleberg eats up a lot of space. Ogilvie is a stiff Whurlitzer and Leak transferring in should be a huge help.

Cam - Tell this guy to get his own handle....garbage.
Marquette is a nice team to add. I'm not sold on Crean as a coach or recruiter. When you make a run like he did in the tournament you have to be successful the next couple of years.
I'm also skeptical about how well these "midwest" teams will recruit into the Big East. I include DePaul and Marquette and not Cincy or Louisville since they have a national recruiting footprint.
The midwest is still Big Ten country and I'm not convinced these teams can take advanage of the beefed up Big East.
