I watched Binghamton play Duke in Greensboro Thursday night. It didn’t take long to have a flashback to the Jeff Green Hoyas. Great spacing, crisp passing, little dribbling and great cutting. Unfortunately, Broadus just didn’t have any size to compete in the post. They battled hard against Duke, they didn’t give up. If Broadus can make the system work, why can’t III do it with better talent? Look at the season statistics for Binghamton- 5 players in double digits in scoring. HOYA SAXA JT3 did do it, did you miss the Final Four in 2007 or the back to back BE titles? That's a shame it was a pretty good time to be a Hoya fan. It was one down year guys, give it a break. Can we see a downward trend before we fire JT3 for what must be obvious incompetence?

WOW, what a reaction!!!!! I agreed that III has done it in the past, just like Broadus is now, but he didn't make it happen this year, I didn't say he couldn't next year. It not like UCONN or CUSE didn't got through the same thing before they returned to success. I didn't miss the Final Four or the Big East Champiuonship last year. I made every home game and about every road game. This year's team beat Memphis, UCONN, CUSE and AU, it lost all chemistry except for a win at Villanova for the last half of the season.
It's not the system, it's how the players play in it. They didn't the last part of the season.

This sentence made it sound as though Kelly was claiming that III had never done it. NCHoya's response was totally reasonable. If one doesn't want to come off sounding like a short-sighted hater, one should choose his phrases more carefully.

You folks from out of town really get me. How times a year do you watch the Hoyas live and see their faces when they are winning or losing? You see what the camera shows. Some people write what they feel on these boards, they have lives and catch the boards for a few minutes when they can. Give kelly a break, he was write on the point, I think he said it well in his response.

Thanks, Sky for covering my back. Looks like we have a lot of downers on the Board, maybe we can pick up more sidecourt seats this year with the downturn in support for the HOYAS.
