I'm not sure I agree with the tone this article takes, but they do say a lot of nice things about AI. And there's a sick video of him crossing up Michael Jordan someone links at the end. www.hoopsdaily.com/content/ai-end-eraPS -- Sorry if someone else has already posted this, but I searched and didn't see anything

It is ashame how people talk about him in the past tense like his career is over. I guarantee if he played on the grizzlies or some other terrible team that needed a scorer he could average 25-28 a night. He goes to a team thats players are getting older, have a new coach, and very slim unproven players in stuckey and the big men besides sheed and mcdyess. I see a smarter basketball player in him that is averaging 18 with limited shots, looks for his teamates and will do anything to win. He is not done yet believe me

the grizzlies do not need an aging scorer to come in and mess with the development of gay and mayo. what they need is a post presence on both ends of the court, a better bench, and a point guard who can knock down jump shots (i'm a huge mike conley fan, especially after watching him drub us up close and personal in atlanta, but his game has not translated well to the next level). and rodney stuckey is one of the brightest young players in the league. he's they guy detroit should be building around for the next five years and beyond.

also, this halfwit blog writer needs to do some research:
"Meanwhile, his place in the record books and his individual legacy is being tarnished, falling from that coveted third spot on the all-time scoring list behind Jordan and Chamberlain."
kareem and karl malone are number one and two on the all-time scoring list, and iverson is 21st, hardly high enough to expect to crack even the top ten before it's all said and done, especially considering questions of durability with his oft-jured body.

Summers -- while the writer made it unclear through a poor choice of words, Iverson's career scoring average (27.7 points per game until this season began) was one of the highest in NBA history.
By comparison, as of today, Lebron James averages 27.5. Kobe Bryant? 25.2.

He was probably referring to career scoring average, not total points scored. In that category, MJ and Wilt are top two, Iverson has now fallen behind baylor, shaq, and west.
