So I guess because of the redshirts, Devendorf and Rautins are seniors academically and juniors athletically. Guess they will be going to grad school to play next year. Devendorf in grad school. Truth is stranger than fiction. You can't make these things up...

Let's not jump to the conclusion that Devendorf has taken and passed enough classes to be a senior academically. And let's not jump to the conclusion that he would go to grad school over taking a single ballroom dancing class next year.

I don't think we lose much if Monroe decides to leave. if Monroe was playing like Blake Griffin it would be a foregone conclusion. but he isn't. what are we now with him? he has been part of the problem with our recent struggles. we would still have Dajuan, Freeman, Wright, Clark, an improving Nikita and Vaughn. Hollis will be in the mix. And hopefully Sims wil have developed some. And maybe we sign a big man or two that we desperately need to go along with only true big man we have in Vaughn. Personally, i think Monroe is a 4-year player with the hype of lotto pick. And that hype may well get him drafted in the top 3. A place where most likely he would have to leave early. Perhaps the single most inane post of the year. Does Greg have a lot to learn? Yes. Has he lived up to expectations? Certainly not entirely. But we won't lose much if he decides to leave? You have got to be kidding. Greg has been part of the problem - as has every single guy on this team(including your hero Chris, who still plays out of control about 50% of the time) as well as the staff. Greg will be one of the Hoyas to remember if he stays at least 3 years. And he ain't going anywhere next year, no matter how much you might like him to.

i'm in the camp that says both stay. being that I was at tuesday's game, I was surprised to learn that greg scored 18. I thought he actually played one of the poorer games he played this season and totally cracked during crunch time. while he may get drafted high...we all know he is years away from contributing contrubuting at the next level. greg knows this, wants to settle unfinished business, wants to make the tourney, etc. he stays.
mason jr has another year of eligability.

Harping on Greg leaving is bad juju or karma, or whatever. Let's lock this thread up.
