I also think he started the more valuable player at this point in the season.

Where is freeman- have they said anything? No sound where I am.

Where is freeman- have they said anything? No sound where I am. Haven't heard a thing, but these announcers are pretty awful. If a starter suddenly disappears from a line-up for any reason, it's something you might want to mention.

I haven't heard Rich give any explanation either, although I did tune in late, so he might have mentioned it earlier in the first half.

Who else do you want taking that shot? Nobody has been clutch this season. You can make the argument for Wright, but at least with DaJuan, you know he's getting the shot off. I would've preferred J-Wall on that shot too, but he's not here anymore.

Also, props on waiting until to 2.9 seconds were left in the game to call a time out. I have no reason why he chose to do that. Anyone have any thoughts as to why?

i think they were trying to get an easy look in transition....when it didn't happen, he called a TO and ran a set play....you're not getting a much better look than that....st john's should have fouled earlier

We had a 15 point lead - and Thompson started trying to show everyone how smart he is, substituting virtually every whistle, slowing everything down, going away from the things that got us the lead. He has not made this team any better in March than it was in December. He certainly deserves a mulligan after the last 4 years, but this has been a very disappointing performance by Coach and the staff this season.

Tough game to watch down the last 10 minutes. Inexcusable loss from the coaching staff. When the lead is cut to 7, you call time out and lay into the these to get them refocused. I felt like JT3 just let them slip away as the lead fell lower and lower. We needed a crisp offensive possession, I cannot believe what just happened.

We've been playing like this for about six weeks now, it can't be that shocking.

it seemed like jt3 was using the 2nd half of a must win game as a training session for lineups that he doesnt use that often and that's with freeman not playing at all i hope freeman had more than a runny nose to miss the entire game tonight...it was only a must win a loss tonight meant going from needing 2 wins in the be tournament for a great chance at an at large berth to needing 5 wins for the automatic berth its as if jt3 didnt know that...obviously he did but you just didnt get the sense of urgency Quote from post-game press conference:guhoyas.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/recaps/030309aac.htmlhoyatalk2.proboards48.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=19004
