One Game At A Time.
Defense is the key.

Bring the same intensity on the defensive half of the court, and we should have ourselves a winning streak for the first time in seven weeks.
This season has been one long lesson that wins should not be taken for granted. Hope we can get a good thing going though. Today was such a nice feeling.

SJU is like Cincinnati--they'll scrap/claw and this is type of team our bigs have trouble against. Going to be a tough game--and just want guys to fight/compete like they did today--and proud of them finding a way to win--ugly as it was--they found a way to WIN!

Keep Malik Booth out of the lane and keep Justin Burrell off the boards. Those will be key. Tough road game, not an easy one by any stretch of the imagination

Definately not a gimme. We'll have to bring it, but I think we will. I also hope to have a nice Hoya presence at MSG to give the guys a bit of a boost.

Yeah, this one makes me really nervous. If we had lost to 'Nova, I wouldn't care. Now, I care. And I'm afraid I'm just getting set up for heartbreak again.

Just focus on SJU. Forget the implications. Remember the cheer from 1985, " The Redmen are dead men." GO HOYAS!!!

St. Johns is pretty lousy. They're not as good as Seton Hall but slightly better than the absolute dregs.
We need to stay focused on defense. The other thing that would be nice is to be on from 3. If we get some cheap open threes and nail them, we'll be in good shape.

Time for a big time blowout. Wipe the floor with them Hoyas!! Bring the whole package and show what you can do. It's about time for a game with some breathing room and to remind us what good defensive AND offensive execution can reap. Do it big.

Statement game! Show the rest of the BE what they will be dealing with in a week in MSG. I want to see max effort, precision offense and suffocating defense. Hoyas need to believe they have found their confidence again and let's set the table for a March run.
If we hit the 3s early, this game is over at the half. I beleive our boys have found their flow again, take it to them Hoyas!

I agree with NCHoya. Let's build on the Nova game and get ready for Depaul and the BET. DON"T LOOK PAST SJU, though.

Am pestering NYC Hoyas/friends to come out and holler for this one. We need one more statement on the road. Here's hoping all of Sapp's family, friends, and fans show up!

I'd like the game to play out much like it did against USF: excel on the defensive end and make sure these guys don't put up more than 55 points. If we do that, we should win comfortably. Hopefully the Nova game has given them confidence defensively, and they can continue to believe that they can get stops whenever they want.

Oh! Wish I could be there...
Lets take it one game at a time and focus on the defensive effort and the defensive rebounding, while cutting down on our TOs.
It feels like a break-out game for Sapp in front of his home crowd.
