I should have posted this yesterday but didn't get home until late. Anyway, I'm usually pretty negative about our crowd, generally because I think our fans come to the games dead to the world. Yesterday was NOT like that, with our fans very involved throughout the contest and standing and cheering whenever appropriate. I thought it was a great improvement, and I hope we can keep it up even as this team struggles. Things will get better, and the fans can play an important part in making that happen.

I agree @ crowd and the prospects of things getting better. Austin actually motioned (during one of our runs) to "GET UP"; many of us in the lower bowl rose. We need to do our part against L'ville and beyond.

Agree. Crowd support was loud and sustained, especially from all us old farts continually being accused of sitting on our hands.

It seems like we have a tradeoff. The "old farts" were great yesterday, better than expected. This time the student section needed serious work in getting up and cheering. But bring it again on Monday everyone.

To the student body, you and I look the same.
