from what i've read, i would think starks would be more of an immediate impact player than jason, but i will leave that to the recruiting experts.

Clark was MET POY - maybe he didn't get QUITE the rankings love that Markel has, but he's not slouch. Different players (Starks is more of a point and is known for having a tighter handle).
Jason has been an impact player this year, and I for one am very excited about his future. I think he has as much potential as anyone on the squad other than Greg.

Yes, good to know. Im glad it seems like a clark -starks backcourt would mesh rather well, as opposed to the sapp- wright backcourt which has had its ups and downs.
nychoya I agree Clark is going to be great. I almost would like to see him starting or getting big minutes especially if there going to bench sapp.

Clark was ranked #62 in the RSCI, and as high as 45 by Sports Illustrated's guru.
Starks is going to be great, but it's not like Clark's ranking was low.

Clark's ranking was low IMO. Having seen both of them play in HS I will have to say the Jason would be the one that makes the bigger immediate impact in the stat sheet, but Markel has much tighter handle and I am confident that he will be able to pick up our offense and just be able to make plays. Though Clark is streaky his shot is still better than Markel's at this point

Sapp is coming off the bench, but is as important to the success of this team as ever. Clark is going to be good too.... but he still makes tons of freshman mistakes like the court-length passes to Row Z. His handle needs a ton of work. Not to say he doesn't make a valuable contribution too, boards, steals, energy, diving on the floor, he will be a really good 4 year Hoya. But Jessie is still the man.
