On their midseason report, Georgetown is listed as "Best Team" along w/ Illinois and BC, and JTIII is listed as "Best Coaching Job" along w/ Jay Wright and Billy Gillispie. Nothing new, doesn't really give much analysis, but it's always good to get some notice! Also, Big East was also in a tie w/ ACC as "Best Conference". Hmmm...still not willing to put us ahead of the ACC..not surprisng. www.cstv.com/sports/s-bcurtis/content/020305aaa.htmlgo band! go hoyas!

I do like, though, that he admits that his player judgments might be biased because he hasn't seen all of the contending players out there. A whole lot more humility than you're average sportswriters' opining. (I know that's a low bar to set, but hey).

Speaking of the collegesports system, are we ever gonna get a new website? Maybe they are saving the debut of the website for the opening of the John Thompson Center on campus.

I thought someone who posts on this board had some info about the timing implementation of the new website. Anyone know the status?

I think the fat lady has sung already on that one. Do you have any info that the idea has been scrapped? I'm under the impression that it is still happening.

Hasn't been scrapped - it's been designed, content has been moved, etc. It's pretty much ready to go. But there's something in the contract that's being held up by the University's lawyers.

Ahhhh, lawyers, gotta love em. *Cough* Bastards, ahem. But who knows, I might be one someday. However, if I were one now, I wouldn't be holding up the upgrade to collegesports for what is now four or so months.
