is it poor form to predict a loss?? call a hangover from the esherick years. I'm scared to death of playing at the RAC especially when everyone thinks that Rutgers has given up on the season (see St. John's at MSG last year). On the plus side we are road dawgs according to my roomate. I'm also not going to be able to watch the game b/c i thought it was an afternoon game (never make dinner plans before checking starting times). I think it might be Jersey State 60 GT (for u 007) 59. P.S. I never predict correctly!!

Vegas likes Rutgers by 1.5.
I like the Hoyas by 9.
Hoyas 74 Rutgers 65
Green and Owens come out of their "slumps" with 19 and 14 points respectively.

Actually, the odds on the game favored the Hoyas by 2 points this morning.

This is a perfect trap game for the Hoyas. However, JT3 will have them ready. I predict another low scoring game and a tough win.

I'm seeing us GETTING 2 pts from Rutgers. And apparently America likes the Knights, as this morning it was Hoyas +1.5. I know the RAC is a tough place to play, undoubtedly, but I was a little shocked by this.
Incidentally, as I write this, Miami is sinking FTs with .8 seconds left to beat the Twerps... WOOOOOOOOO!!!

Wow, the terps lay another egg. Can you think of a team that is less consistant?
And with the win Miami improves to 5-5 in the ACC. What a great conference they have this year....
Go Hoyas!

Well, the Hoyas are 1.5 pt dogs, and the o/u is 125. That means a smart gambler would bet on the under and the Hoyas, baby! But, alas, I'm not in the financial situation to be throwing my money around, so my prediction here will have to suffice, and beyond that, a Hoya win is sweeter than any amount of $$$, no?
So here goes...
Green rebounds (literally) by scoring 14 and grabbing 11 boards. Bowman again leads the way with 17, followed by Cook with 13. Hibbert is solid contributing 6 points and 10 rebounds in 22 minutes of action, with Wallace adding 5 points and solid play. The surprise contributer is a rejuvinated Owens who hits a couple from downtown and finishes with 6 points. To round out the scoring, Reed chips in with 2 points.
The key to the game ends up being the Hoyas strong defense and rebounding, controlling the tempo and limited turnovers.
The reason the final score is so close is because Rutgers has some streaky shooting from downtown, and the Hoyas again hit a dry spot and unfortunately are inconsistent at the line. However, they end up prevailing in a tough road battle.
Georgetown 63 Rutgers 59

Actually, the odds on the game favored the Hoyas by 2 points this morning. I may not know when to cut myself off... ...but never question me on point spreads.
