No prediction from me. I don't want to be overconfident on this one.

alright i am going to be the moron to start this off and get it completely off.
i know someone mentioned the early start time at the RAC and how they are down for early tip offs. well we dont have that luxury. the students are going to be drunk at 7pm for a game (i know i would be, with my flask and all)
we all know how difficult it is to play at the RAC, but I have confidence in these kids. they know what they have to do, which is run their offense. i think it will be close however, we have always struggled at Rutgers. But i think we pull it out down the stretch. it brandon's new free throw style is any indication we should be able to seal it up at the line.
heres the prediction
55-49 GU
Jeff goes for 15 BB 13 Roy 6pt 9 rbs 3 blocks Wallace 9pts 6 assists AC 10 pts
Once again limitted scoring from the bench. a good victory on the road to get us ready for the home stretch

I predict a riot when the front rows are reserved for the seniors... Then the Jersey state police get involved and subdue all the unruly Rutgers fans so that all us peaceful GTown fans who would never, ever even think about possibly threatening to maybe consider contemplating rioting can watch the game in peace.

The Hoyas will play hard, but I don't know if that will translate to a victory...

three pointers fill the night from both sides, but Hoyas can actually play a little defense, and control the boards. Hoyas 75 RU 68

we'll see if i can repeat my dead-on prediction from the seton hall game...
RAC has always been a challenge - lots of good teams have succumbed to that atmosphere and I see Douby having a big game.
That being said, GU continues its string of great defense and despite 15 turnovers, we pull it out, but it will be close...
GU 59, Rutgers 56

GU getting some props from folks in the prediction thread over at the rutgersfan.com message board: [RU Predictions][http://rutgers.rivals.com/showmsg.asp?fid=641&tid=47905387&sid=&style=2] I like that they're praying for a specific ref for any chance at winning. That's got to be nothing but good for us. I'd like to be confident about this, I really would. But the RAC can be a death trap. Look at what almost happened to Syracuse. Two things on our side: 1. It is intirely possible, as some Rutgers fans suggest, that the team has given up the ghost on this season, unlike the earlier matchup where they came out very strong. 2. Much of my hesitance comes from the fact that we've played so, SO poorly there the past several years. But, as I've been saying to myself before nearly every game, that was with a different coach. One thing about this team, even when they've gotten off to horrible starts, they do not get rattled. That is 100% JTIII and I hope it continues this weekend. Having said all that, I said I'd start making predicitons after the first 8 games of the schedule. I lied. I am far too superstitious for that. I am pu##ying out on this one. I'll just say Go Hoyas! and leave it at that. Incidentally, we have also won every game I've tried to tape but screwed up. We lost the one game I taped successfully - BC. Rest assured, I am setting my VCR to the Lifetime Network at 7 p.m. on Saturday night. (no, I don't have TIVO yet, dammit; don't rub it in)

guhoya2007,
is there really a need to go on the rutgers board and nitpick about how to abbreviate georgetown? i mean, really? is this all you have to do with your free time? troll other teams boards for little e-r-r-o-r-s? geez dude, find some female companionship or something, and if that fails, purchase some...you are acting kind of gayperish...

Yeah, that's all I have to do. Sorry if that bothers you, I guess I'm a loser.
I personally can't stand that abbreviation and it just Editedes me off. (GT=Georgia Tech)
Thanks for your advice though, I love being insulted.

NCAAB lines aren't released until day of, but my guess would have to be GU -2.5. We were 5 point favs last time at home, obviously playing at the RAC is tough. Would love to be away dogs, but considering both records and the last meeting we should be favored by a couple. Although watching us recently and with a 9-7-1 record ATS, would appreciate it if the books were to give us a couple. Regardless I'd take the under in whatever the line is on this one, based on how we and Big East ball has been this year.

actually, i might be wrong 007, but i feel like GT HAS been used in the past on ESPN-televised games to represent Georgetown. I agree with you that GU or GTOWN is far more preferable, but can anyone recall seeing GT used for georgetown in the little scorebox during games?
anyway man i am a jokester/a-hole/d-bag so don't take anything i say seriously - nice play you got on ESPN the other night...that should snare you some gtown leg for sure.

This is going to be a tough one. If it was a Noon game I'd say we win easily, but those 7PM games on the road when the students can get all liquored up makes it tough.
Hoyas are going to struggle in this one big time. I'm terrified of the RAC and they hate G-Town for some reason.
Hoyas 62 Rutgers 60
Oh and the Hoyas are a lock for any under if you can get it. I saw one at the last minute for the Hall game and grabbed it without even looking at the number.

So I've been calling for a G'town blowout for the last several games, and it hasn't happened yet. I still think we're due.

Hey, feel sorry for me 007. You'll be in Rutgers and I'll be stuck in DC watching it on TV. Besides you have to admit gayperish is a funny word. Cheer 'em on to victory on Saturday, this one is a must-have
