In 2005. Note that the projections have Louisville, Cincinnati, Depaul, and Marquette all in based on current projections even though Marquette has to be a big stretch at 3-5 in CUSA right now.
How will this work? You will have so many solid squads in one conference and depending on scheduling, a team could easily have a better in conference schedule and not make the tourney with teams below them getting in. After watching Seton Hall, the Johnies, South Florida & I am sure a couple of others, not all teams are equal in the Big East. If you are overloaded with chumps on your schedule with a 16 team conference, this will make it very difficult to determine a true winner each year except for the BE Tourney.
