No GUHoyas.com video highlights? No 5-post long FLHoya recap? My roommate saying that must have been a bad game to watch? Posters saying the student section was no good tonight and criticizing the band? My cable in my room is out, so I have no access to any highlights whatsoever???
COME ON PEOPLE, WE'RE 6-3 IN THE BIG EAST!!! WHERE'S THE EXCITEMENT!!??
Something very strange is going on, and I don't like it, I don't like it one bit...

I think people are excited (I know I am), but the not-so-sharp way in which the team has played in the past two games perhaps has some folks concerned about how secure our position in the upper-half of the conference is. In particular, I know I have some concerns after watching the last couple of games that some of the players (particularly Jeff Green) may be wearing down a bit as the schedule wears on. But then again, we can take some comfort that last night's game may have gotten Wallace back on track with some confidence. It would be great if the same could occur for DJ on Saturday - the team has been getting him some pretty open looks, his shot has just been off.
I kinda got the same feeling after last nights win. I tried calling several friends, but couldn't get through. The ESPN Classic broadcast made a somewhat painfully slow game seem even more dull. This board was lacking the usual excitement and enthusiasm one would expect. There were no highlights on GuHoyas.com. The Washington Times articles were still not up. Argh!!!
But after an emotionally draining loss at BC, and the lack of huge scoring run or crazy plays in last nights game, I think the fanbase is a little burnt out. But don't worry, we're all gonna get our second win (as JG is sure to do) and the excitement is going to be there for the important @rutgers game on Saturday.
If we manage to come out strong at the RAC, I think we have a very good chance that we'll be looking at 7-3 record in the BE, and then the mad post-season speculation will be firing on all cylinders, both here on the board, on the national media, and on the streets of D.C. baby!
Who would have thought that we woud be sitting here at 6-3 in the BE, 14-6 overall, and still not be quite satisfied. Despite the fact that JT III has already proven to have had a successful inaugural, I like the fact that neither the fan base, nor (more importantly) the team, is satisfied. I like the fact that despite starting three freshman, and having a short and inexperienced bench, all of whom are learning a new system, we have raised our expectations. Obviously, we can't get carried away and we need to realize that both games and the season will have ebbs and flows, but let's step back and appreciate where we are now, where we have been, and where we are going.
WAY TO GO JT III! WAY TO GO HOYAS! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
