We appear to have someone on the sidelines who is not actually interested in coaching, either.

JTIII should not be losing games like this. I dont care how bad team moral is after Duke and WVU. Something is wrong with the team.

My Quick Hits:

1) This wasn't a lack of energy game. Offensively, we just weren't interested in executing and that gave them some easy points off turnovers and transistion.

2) Seton Hall played a good game. As I said yesterday, if they out-effort us who knows what happens. That team was hungry and we gave them a full plate to eat off of.

3) I'm still not convinced that we are THIS team. We're not the team that beat UConn or 'Cuse maybe, but we are not this team.

EDIT: and 4) Coaching was veeeeery questionable in this game. JT3 simply didn't even seem to be trying to pull any strings, let alone the right ones.

the entire team looked absolutely horrific today, minus greg in stretches and jessie's first half. no patience, no loyalty to the offense, TOTAL boneheaded plays...JTIII must be beside himself.

Without question, the worst loss of the JT III era. We are now at extreme risk of having to play on Tuesday at the Big East Tournament.

The worst part is that it's in the guys' heads. I can't count how many open 3 looks we gave up because the guys are convinced they can't shoot the 3. Self-perpetuation in full. Our shooters are NOT this bad. They're making themselves this bad.

it's not a blip. our coaching staff is as clueless right now as the players are. how many times today did we come out of a timeout with a garbage possession? too many. he deserves as much of the blame for this mess as the players. freeman and summers are not even giving 50% effort right now. i'd rather have henry making mistakes giving 100% than those two going throught the motions. this team is a mess.

This game is on the staff!!! Playing man D vs a team that did not hit ONE three all day is DUMB..

This staff must start preparing the team to attack the weaknesses of the opponents instead of playing to Hoya strengths because it doesn't seem like they have many.

There is so much to vent about, but I am absolutely stunned about two things: first that we had so many terrible possessions and shots immediately after time outs. Second, Monroe could not be guarded and both of their big men fouled out. And he never touched the ball at the end of the game! How is this possible?

Decision making was poor, but coaching needs to take a lot of the blame too. JTIII has not given me much trust in the planning if the team doesn't start the game on a shooting tear (a la UCONN). What kind of designed plays were those to end the game? Yes, those weren't the cause of the loss but WTF. They just called a TO to give Sapp a walk up fade-away three point airball? You've gotta be kidding. Not to mention we were down 1 and attempting 3s when we were like 3-20 at that point... you have to be kidding. Tell them to pound it inside or they will get pulled.
