I haven't heard anything about what we did to Devo during the Cuse game. Any good chants? Signs? Reenactment of the "incident?" Please let me know about the crowd "participation" during the game.

Signs lasted about 2.5 seconds each. The best part for most was the rewording of "Hey Baby".

I was at the game but watched the first half last night. Turn up the sound and you can hear, quite clearly, the excellent "he beats girls" chant after DevoEdited shoots the technical FTs. Also, I can't remember who it was who was bemoaning the loss of the "Hoyas Against Domestic Violence" sign, but it was also very visible in a crowd shot.

That is a GREAT sign, it's clever and smart and not overly crude. Interesting that others were rewording "hey baby" because i didnt hear it at the game but was rewording it my self afterword. I guess great minds (i.e. those who dont go to cuse) think alike

There was also a "You hate women" chant from the upper deck.
The "Hey, Baby" rendition still takes the cake.

Signs are allowed usually but the word had spread before the game that Devo related signs were not going to be tolerated. And they weren't.

I might get ridiculed for this, but I was watching him a lot at the game and then when I re-watched at home on TV. He actually acted with class that night. When he made shots, he didn't thump his chest or even really celebrate like he usually does. After the game, he very clearly was gracious to the Hoyas players and coaches congratulating them while shaking hands in the line. Still hate Syracuse, but I can't criticize the guy for maybe changing his attitude and maturing a bit.

Signs are allowed usually but the word had spread before the game that Devo related signs were not going to be tolerated. And they weren't. So who makes that decision? Is it just the Verizon center staff, or somebody from Georgetown? Seems odd that we'd feel the need to be so sensitive to an opposing player that beats up girls.

From my seats at the front row of section 217, I was able to clearly see that during the 2H, after he made a 3-pointer, he cussed at the Hoya fans seated courtside across from the SU bench. Several people seated courtside and on the first few rows of sections 112 and 113 got up and started calling on the refs for a technical. Anyone who was seated on sections 112 or 113, or courtside, recall this? E.D. needs a course on Belarusian etiquette and manners...

Yes.... it's one of the documented stages of emotional development... stops hitting girls. Usually happens around age 4 or 5. Real mature. The guy should have been brought up on charges. Allegedly. Instead, he gets a free "education" and how many chances?

Is it just the Verizon center staff, or somebody from Georgetown? Seems odd that we'd feel the need to be so sensitive to an opposing player that beats up girls. The NCAA makes the call when the read that little thing before every game which says that cursing or behavior which could offend other fans or personally attacks players is unacceptable. This is true where ever you go, whether it is enforced is another question and that Verizon is not a university owned venue they are less likely to put up with bad behavior. I might get ridiculed for this, but I was watching him a lot at the game and then when I re-watched at home on TV. He actually acted with class that night. And im pretty sure that at some point Pacman Jones has donated some large some of money to a charity at some point in his life, but he still sends goons to shoot people at strip clubs

Paul Harris and his theatrics 40 seconds into the game were also completely unnecessary.

The AD has put word out before certain games that mentions of controversial topics (Devo, McAlarney's arrest last year, etc.) were not to be tolerated. They probably passed the word onto MCI.
