I thought it was about that time...
GU 61, SHU 51
I see Jeff rebounding from a subpar game, as well as JWall finding his stroke again and chipping in 12 pts, all from behind the arc.
Wish that the immortal Darius Lane was still hoisting 3s for the Hall, but alas, we will have to lay the smackdown on Cerasoli instead.

That blowout should really show up one of these days -- why not tonight?

I see Crawford getting a lot of minutes today and Reed too. It wouldn't surprise me to see the starting lineup mixed up a little (DJ instead of Roy or Crawford instead of Wallace) in an attempt by JT3 to get the team off to a strong start. I also predict a riot in the student section prior to the game (started by 007 and myself) if the rumors are true and the first 5 rows are reserved for seniors b/c it's senior night.

Why would it be senior day when there are three more home games?

nothing against reed, but he really shouldn't get anything but spot time. wallace needs to get back on track and i'm guessing he'll have some opportnunities tonight to do so.
what i'm looking to see (besides grey uniforms) is if the hoyas have worked on not stalling the offense. no more giving the ball to roy 20+ feet from the basket. no more waiting for a back door when some simple screens could open up the offense. keep things fluid and the offense runs much smoother.
hoyas should bounce back: Hoyas 74 SHU 57

Hoyas 87, Parrotophiles 52
Roy will start, JTIII is on record saying it is important to him to develop Roy.
I see Roy, Brandon, and Jeff each having a monster game, with good efforts from DJ and Ashanti in the backcourt.
If there is a starting change, it won't be Tyler, look for Ray to possibly start at point, but Tyler will see good minutes off the bench, and become the 8th man in the rotation for the rest of the season.

Why would it be senior day when there are three more home games? It's for senior week-it's not for the basketball players, it's for the students (ticket discount and reserved seating)

Hopefully JTIII will let Green take out his braids in favor of the bomb afro. Considering it's retro night and all, I think Green should unleash that bad boy! Green's stats will be huge if he's sportin the fro. Hoyas win 68-54.

Is it Senior Disorientation? I'm not sure exactly what they're calling it (I'm not a senior, so I haven't been paying too much attention), but it's a time of the year where seniors do all kinds of activities-the senior auction is soon, their was a date auction, they're selling/handing out bracelets, etc.... Anyway, supposedly the first five rows are being reserved for seniors, which, in my opinion is a huge mistake-why put so much effort into getting an amazing student section and then potentially ruin it by populating the front rows w/ seniors instead of diehards? I can understand saving a section of good seats for seniors (like rows 5-10 perhaps?) but the first 5 rows? I mean, I think this excludes pretty much the entire normal front row crowd. So once again, if it's true, odds are their will be a riot (and a mediocre student section for our 1 national TV home game)

I wouldn't worry about it, if it is Senior Disorientation you will have a bunch of liquored up "spring sliding" seniors in the front rows making a lot of noise. Sure they may not have any idea what they are cheering for...or what they are going to do after they graduate, but trust me, they will be enthousiastic cause in the immortal words of the right reverend Chris Tucker, they "ain't got sh*t to do."

Seriously, I know you've been working hard, but instead of threatening a riot, realize that by mixing things up a bit and putting new people in the front, there could be some benefits. And you can still see the game just fine from row six.

Well someone has to be the jerk. I see a humbling 65-60 lost for the Hoyas. Whitney goes for a double/double. A close game throughtout(whats new). Just my 2 cents.
Of course I hope they win by 30 and im the only one who picked them to lose.

Seriously, I know you've been working hard, but instead of threatening a riot, realize that by mixing things up a bit and putting new people in the front, there could be some benefits. And you can still see the game just fine from row six. I am planning on doing my best from row 6. And yes, there could be some benefits, but personally, I think it's crap to reserve seats like that. 1)It's a risky idea to put an unknown in the front rows for the one national TV game. They could be good, or they could be a bunch of drunks who are barely into the game. 2) The student section is general admission-the people who get there first should get the best seats. I think it's crap when the dance team saves seats in the front and I think it's crap when Hoya Blue saves seats in the fron and I think it's crap when the seniors are saved seats in the front. Personally, I don't save seats in the front rows b/c I think it should only be for people that are willing to put in the time commitment to get the seats. If they wanted to save seats in rows 6-10 that would be fine with me (and I like the idea of selling discounted tickets to seniors to encourage attendance) As you said, the seats aren't that bad.

You know, if the front row isn't quite up to par for a game on Classic, it really is okay. I agree it is crap to save seats, but it is nice for seniors. They should get something. You'll survive ONE game and it just might get them more into it.
