Monroe will have the first triple-double in Hoya history. Not today mind you, but while he's here.

If he stays more than a year, absolutely...if he is here only one year, probably. He should have had one today if our guys could catch the ball when they weren't TOTALLY expecting it. He is unbelievably special.
His look to Henry in the second half when Henry missed the bunny was mind-blowing...very sad that won't be part of the highlights of this game b/c it was a sick, sick pass.

True. Teammates cost him at least three assists in the final ten minutes.

Yeah, the box score said 6 ast. but I remembered seeing him get at least 2 more (and 2 or 3 blown by Summers/Sims) after he already was listed at 6.
I think he'll do it sometime.

Quadrupole double if he can get his shot blocking or steal making up.

Okay, how many rebs and assists did Greg really get today. The article on the Hoyas official homepage has two different totals in the same article:
Providence 82-75
Greg Monroe finished with 13 points, 9 reboounds, and 7 assists.
Jan. 10, 2009
WASHINGTON (AP)--Austin Freeman scored 18 points, Greg Monroe nearly had a triple-double, and No. 9 Georgetown held Providence scoreless for more than 6 minutes to rally for an 82-75 victory Saturday that ended the Hoyas' two-game Big East losing streak.
Georgetown (11-3, 2-2) trailed by nine points in the first half, and allowed Providence (11-5, 3-1) to go ahead 44-40 on Brian McKenzie's 3-pointer with 16:15 left. More bad news for Georgetown: Its leading scorer, DaJuan Summers, went to the sideline with four fouls shortly thereafter.
That, though, is when Monroe began to get more assertive, leading a 15-0 run by the hosts. After a one-basket first half, he finished with 13 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.

Sims, Freeman, and Summers combine for 4-5 missed layups off of Monroe passes. Should have been a triple double today.

As long as we keep getting him the opportunities to make a play like we did throughout the second half--it'll happen. When you combine the actual assists with the turnovers (had to be all if not almost all from the post trying for assists...and many almost made it) and the missed bunnies, that's a phenomenal number of opportunities Greg is getting for assists, and this is a good thing.

His Steals were nice.
He's sort of becoming like Olajuwon with his Versatility. Although he reminds me of Kareem for some reason (minus the sky hook). Maybe it's the facial hair.

has there ever been a better passing big man? Bill Walton was good. I don't no if there has even been a better ball handling Big Man though. His between the legs cross over is something you don't see from someone that tall.
