I really enjoyed Thuggy Bear's quote about continuing to recruit the best student-athletes. 0% graduation rate, right?

"In terms of scouting, that has been ongoing from the beginning of the season. We've been gathering information whenever we see a Big East opponent playing on television, we're making sure we get a copy of the game tape." -- head coach of S. Florida Looks like we'll have an advantage, considering we aren't on TV. I guess that's one good thing that came from the media blackout.

That 0% stat is a bit of a bad rap on UC--here's why.
The NCAA only counts entering freshmen as part of graduation rates. If Cincinnati brings in two transfers and two JC players in a year and they all graduate, it doesn't count. If one freshman comes in and he transfers, the grad rate is 0%.
Overall, Cincinnati's athletic grad rate for men is about 53%.
