Our RPI is significantly higher than Notre Dame's right now, as well as Pitt's. Villanova has a fantastic RPI, but we're fifth in the conference behind Nova, Cuse, UConn, and BC. Shouldn't we be fourth behind BC, Pitt and the 'Cuse? Notre is 5-3 and we have the tiebreaker (head to head, right?) and Nova is only 4-3.

Got it. That's why I think that UConn has a good chance to make the dance still - good RPI and they're the defending national champs. Though I don't know if UConn has ever made the tourney four straight years under Calhoun.

This is almost a must win. This is a game we should win, and since we should win, it would be hard to take otherwise. This game offers the guys a chance to bounce back big time. Let's hope retro refers to the '84 season and not to '72.
GO HOYAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOOK THE PIRATES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remember those Gerald Riley and Courtland Freemand jerseys in Carolina Blue/Teal (see other thread for decision on that, I suppose)?
May not be pretty, but that's retro.

I think I might change up my outfit slightly. I might go with 2 high blue socks instead of a blue and a gray, my gray throwback shorts like the ones we wore for 3 games last season rather than my mainly blue new looking shorts, the WE ARE GEORGETOWN tee of course and a completely gray face with GU in blue rather than half blue half gray with opposite colored GU and blue wig. But we'll see, I'm still not sure if I want to change it up.

How could anyone forget that power play? We scored a rare short handed goal in basketball.

I am going with the following gear:
Blue blazer Louie Carnesecca red sweater underneath White towel over the shoulder (I highly recommend everyone bringing one of these).
Not sure if I have the time to get the fake aviator frames, or grow ten inches, but this will have to do.
Thanks again to SF for pointing out that my inane post last week actually contained the seeds of a retro tribute to JT II.

Just a reminder that since I live in Russia where everyday life is 10 years behind that of the USA I am by definition retro ...

I forgot how they plundered that game... Q: Where does the Pirate of Georgetown live? A: On Arrrrrrrrrr! Street. Thank you, thank you. The 9 o'clock show is completely different than the 7 o'clock show. Try the veal.
