Another solid write up by Hoya Perspectus. They deserve a real standing ovation for cutting edge statistical analysis. It's rare in sportsfandom to be the beneficiary of such loving obsession and I salute you guys as an invaluable resource.

Full agreement with Cambridge. I hope that SFHoya, CO Hoya, and whoever else is responsible for Hoya Prospectus understand just how much their work is appreciated. I make sure that I read basically everything written there, and I think it greatly helps to inform me as a fan. Keep up the great work guys.

Young frosh phenoms CHECK with a lot of upside CHECK game will be won by the team that makes the plays CHECK the key will be whoever controls the pace CHECK the key will be the intangibles CHECK... but which team has the player with the bigger heart?!? will giving 110% be enough to really step it up on Saturday afternoon??? I really hope this write-up was a tongue-in-cheek effort inspired by hoyatalk2.proboards48.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=17846

"The key for the Hoyas will be to slow down the game and every chance they get, do what they do best: attack backdoor for easy layups." Ugh, are we going to have to deal with this crap as long as JT3 is the head coach?

"Last year, Memphis won by 14 in a game Georgetown never seemed to be truly a part of." Really? he knows we were up 8 at one point right. ryan needs to watch a little bit more georgetown basketball. Although that might be hard since i didn't see his name on the list of student season ticket holders and haven't seen him at any of the games yet this year as a member of the media.

I was thinking the same thing in regards to both articles. I remember us being in the game for a good amount. Especially in the first half.

Ugh, are we going to have to deal with this crap as long as JT3 is the head coach? I assume that they'll catch up EVENTUALLY. They're beginning to catch on that the Hoyas were an offensive powerhouse in 2006-07 despite not scoring a ton of points...

Also includes a good video preview of the game with Steve Lappas. What's with all these former Big East coaches becoming TV guys? Lappas? Fraschilla? I think Fraschilla is a good color man and has probably the best knowledge of the teams and players of any analyst on TV. He knows everyone, even down to the AAU level. I like him a lot.
