Who gets the majority of the guard minutes next to Cook the rest of the way?
Wallace hasn't been effective lately and needs to check his backside for splinters after tonight. Reed got major minutes tonight but didn't have much impact. Crawford was very impressive late in the game. He seemed to have an uncanny knack for JTIII's offense.
My guess is Wallace is the starter for the foreseeable future, but did Crawford play his way into the rotation?

good question. not sure what the answer is though. i think walalce continues to start, but is on a short leash. he has to contribute something. empty box scores do us no good. reed brings energy, but he also brings wild play. crawford moved very well without the ball, was active on d, and hit the boards big time. was it a coming out for tyler or a one game wonder? i say play him more and let's see.

I think we may see Reed in the starting lineup sometime soon. At some point, JTIII is going to have to address the slow start issue. I'm not saying Reed is the answer but a change may be coming. I would have thought that change would have been replacing Hibbs with Owens in the starting lineup, but JTIII stated that he liked DJ coming off the bench.

I think you do whatever you need to do to get Jon his confidence back. He needs to take six to seven threes every game -- he can't just miss one then disappear.
If that's benching, that's that. If that's continuing to back him, that's that.
I've been a fan of Ray's, and Tyler was definitely impressive, but we need Jon's shooting, too.

Agree. We need to get Jon's confidence back and the only way to do that is to tell him to take shots. They will start to fall and we really need him.

i am sorry - just not sold on ray reed - he has shown flashes of sufficient play, but he is not adequately under control to operate within this offense in my opinion - we already have a borderline one-on-one-er mentality in BB...don't need reed - plus he is maddeningly inconsistent.
what we need from wallace is the shooting aspect certaintly, but also the ability to penetrate and dish...perhaps he doesn't have the foot speed for that, i don't know - but being stuck on the perimeter with the defense vigilantly guarding the 3-ball means that there needs to be penetration

Reed is too inconsistent. For every nice drive he has, he has another awful airball, turnover, etc.
He doesn't bring anything to the table besides quickness, and ain't Crawford pretty quick and quite a leaper himself?

I feel like Reed will be better next year-he's still alternating b/w out of control and in control, but last year he wasn't alternating at all. I'm not sure Crawford brings as much quickness as Reed, but he's also a much better rebounder. He got some quality (in the paint) boards against BC (which is especially impressive considering their strength is their frontcourt).
