Ryan (Atl) Digger, simple question, Will Georgetown be the first team to hand BC a loss today??
DIGGER PHELPS I don't think so. Dudley and Smith have done too much to get the Eagles where they are. Jermaine Watson coming off the bench and getting double figures is the best sixth man in college. But GU is 5-2 in the league and has Villanova coming next week, and no matter what happens tonight that will be a battle to see which is the fifth-best team in the Big East.

mb (Franklin,Ky) Digger is wrong about Arkansas beating Kentucky. Tubby is one of the best coaches in college basketball. Once the coat comes off it's on

"But GU is 5-2 in the league and has Villanova coming next week" Who has Nova coming next week? I think that might be the second e-r-r-o-r Digger made with that statement. They have them on the 23rd, and we have them on the 27th. Man...that is a tough 2 game stretch for Nova...

Whoever is calling SHU-SJU just said roy hibbert will be the #1 overall pick in the NBA draft if he stays four- pretty much right out of the blue. Huh? Maybe he meant first round?

And what the hell was that comment about the "fifth best team in the BE" about?

i don't know- and I think the "Europeans are the only ones who play the game right" was a bit much.

That was Don Criqui (sp) who had called the GU-ND game last Sunday (and saw big Roy dunk us to a last second victory). During the broadcast he also mentioned that Roy has soft hands, a comment which appears to be based on a somewhat small sample of Roy's play. That's not to say I don't think Roy can develop soft hands, just don't believe he's there yet.

wow - that is quite a statement - #1 overall pick, Roy Hibbert from Georgetown ;D
I could possibly see him getting drafted after four years, but that is a long way off - would love to see him get 12 and 10 tonight to help pave the way to victory...
