What time is our game next Saturday against Rutgers?
The team and the fans came out hungover against Nova at noon this afternoon and the RAC is a different place at night.
The Rutgers program has not made the progress under Waters that I expected after his first season there. They seem have two speeds: out of control or lethargic. With somewhat limited talent, they need to value possessions with much better shot selection. They don't turn the ball over much (though they are today), but when you only make one pass before throwing the ball up, it doesn't mean as much. I am sure they will play better against us next week, but the Knights are going the wrong way at the wrong time of the season.
On the other hand, Nova has found a groove.

That VU-RU game can only be considered total domination. Nova shot 64% from the floor (54% from 3) while Rutgers shot 29% from the floor -- and 11% from three.
