Mega and I are going to Bar Coastal, one of my favorite bars to watch games at in the city- for one reason it never gets super crowded. Its a cozy California themed bar on the Upper East Side. Phenomenal wings, reasonable prices. I think being up against semi-local Cuse at Pitt (noth ranked) which is on ESPN and starts 30 minutes before our game- we are unlikely to hear the game (volume) or get PRIME tv anywhere. But if there is a place, perhaps Bar Coastal. Come one, come all!
One of the things I like about Bar Coastal is that barring NFL games, it tends to be dead-ish at that hour. That is certainly what I am hoping for so that we may try to make the place our own a bit with regards to TVs, etc. (Fingers crossed for sound.)

Oh. ANd Bar Coastal has a pool table, Golden Tee, and darts. I would just ask that anyone inclined towards darts makes sure they know exactly where MEGAFAN is before they throw.

There are bar watch threads for Colorado, Chicago, Cali, and Lichtenstein among others for this game. OK I made the last one up, but where are all the New Yorkers planning on watching the game?

I'm still looking for my old NYC gamewatch thread, but now that we have a place pinned down, I highly recommend that all you NYC HOYA fans get off your lazy a$$e$ and join us as we attempt to hand BC their first loss of the season, on their home court nonetheless. I will be looking to head up to BAR COASTAL at around 6:30pm or so and meeting up with thebin and possibly a few others for a few pre-game drinks to get the juices flowing a little.
NYC HOYAS represent!
LET'S GO HOYAS!!! SPANK BC!

here is the bar's website: www.barcoastal.com/I talked to the guy there, promised us good tv's-said shouldn't be many there at that time, but they will have music most likely at that point. Going up against the Knicks and Cuse at Pitt game, we were swimming uphill on that one anyway.
