I saw Austin visibly limping to the free throw line towards the end of the game, and was wondering the same thing. If I remember correctly, he immediately came out of the game after the FTs.

He didn't come back after the free throws, and the free throws he took had no legs in them. That being said, he didn't look too ginger on it. He may miss a game or two but it definitely didn't look serious.

It looked to me like a cramp, in that it seemed to loosen as he walked on it. Greg also kicked the hoop going for a block in the first half and came out limping, but was all better by the second half. Over all Austin looked frustrated all night so it was very hard to read his face when he got hurt to see if it was serious or not.

Austin had cramps throughout the duration of the game, and all day leading up to the game from what I've been told. The "injury" could have just been an "inflamation" of the cramps. I do not beleive the injury was serious but I have yet to receive confirmation as to that assertion. The info I received about him cramping was prior to the game's tip.

When he was standing at the line before those last FTs, it looked like cramps. The calf was very tight and looked like a knot.

The staff were rubbing ice on Freeman's calf (and just his calf) after the free throws, so I assume that's more a matter of cramping.

He was limping badly on his way to the FT line, but it looked like he was walking more naturally when he went to the bench. He didn't appear to be in much pain, which is a good sign.
Monroe also went off limping a bit in the first half. The trainers tended to his leg, and he went back in before the end of the half.

that would make sense it if it was cramps...I also saw Chris head over to the bench with what looked like cramps as Ms. Michaels the trainer gave him the a water bottle and poured in gator-lyte (pretty much a glorified salt packet for anyone else who has been blessed enough to have to chug one of these for cramps). Interesting if several of the guys had cramps throughout the game

Coach said in the postgame press conference that both Chris and Austin were suffering from cramps and had to ask to be subbed out. Should be nothing.

I was more concerned with the fouls being against Austin. From the stands, it looked like he couldn't catch a break. There was a charge call where it looked like the defender was definitely back peddling. Then he had blocking foul called where he looked pretty damn established to my (unbiased, of course) eyes. And then another call around the three point line where the ball handler shoved off on Austin, and Austin got called for the block. No wonder he was frustrated.
