and am confronted by tww men in Klan hoods holding nightsticks and claiming "no black power here".
Shocking, outrageous and untrue.
However, would you believe two Black Panthers doing the inverse?
One point if you can.

My bad. I just realized they're part of Barry's new "Civilian Homeland Security" team.

There are Edited bags everywhere, of every political persuasion. We'll just have to work around them the best we can.

Agree with hoyarooter. I don't think anyone shouldn't be troubled by what happened at that site. But I was a poll watcher in Philly today, and a lot of unfortunate happened, from 4 machines breaking in one polling place, to 90% of the voters whose registrations were not processed in time by the Election Board being African-Americans, to baseless voter challenges in North Philly. We, as a country and on both sides, need to just chill with the voter suppression. I don't give a rat's ass who you vote for (Ok, that's clearly a lie, but you get what I mean), I'd rather you just vote. The problem at that site wasn't that Black Panthers got away with stuff the KKK couldn't, it's that someone may have kept anyone eligible from voting.

And thank you for being a poll watcher.

Elvado, apparently Philly is especially racially "concerned," even moreso than other big cities. In all seriousness, you have a point in that had the roles been reversed there would have been much more outcry.
On a slightly related note, this was the first time sine 96 that I haven't been a poll watcher for a Presidential election.
