Can some one explain to me the hype around Mullens? I have only seen him play in those all-star games which are not a good display of talent, but i still never saw much from him. He looks to me like a solid player that is helped by being 7-foot but has alot to work on.

All I've ever seen Mullens do is dunk.
I'm not kidding. He runs the floor well and dunks well. He's got hops but doesn't seem like an elite defender. He's not as skilled as Koufos though he seems more athletic.
I don't see the hype, either.

he's a thick seven footer with good coordination and a nice verticle. in the game of basketball, those characteristics can mask many weeknesses. I dont doubt he will make a great college player.

I agree...Mullins can finsih.... but that's about it. His shot is inconsistent, his lateral quickness is just so so, his back to the basket game is limited. If I had to choose between him and Greg... I choose Greg 10 times over.

Not that it matters, but the track for the Monroe video isn't The Beatnuts, it's gangstarr.

"Games that will determine their season: Dec. 13 vs. Memphis; Dec. 29 at UConn; Jan. 5 at Notre Dame; Feb. 23 vs. Louisville"
No mention of a certain game on Jan. 17th... ;D

dunkdhot,
Glad you pointed that out. The primo beat is unmistakable. Although he's done work for the beatnuts too.
