Nice interview, good humor on Roy's part, and a classy answer to a trick question.
We are going to miss having that kid around the HillTop, but he is going to represent GU in the NBA very well... as others have before him. GO BIG ROY!

There are a couple of interviews with him from earlier this summer at that site's podcast archives for those who are interested. And the interview with Camille Powell that the host referred to is still there as well.

For those of us who can't listen at work (but want instant gratification anyway) what was the trick question and the classy answer? Thanks.

The host, referring to the alma mater of his co-host (a WNBA player in Indiana?), asked Roy if it was true that he couldn't get into Purdue.
Roy took it all in stride and took the high road, saying that Purdue was a great school, GU was a great school. I don't even think he said that he didn't apply to Purdue. He may have said he was going to GU all along, IIRC.
The host was just busting Roy's chops, and admitted as much after the exchange, saying that the co-host never asked that question. Good natured exchange.
