I'll be sure to see him and his running mate this yr .... any word on this kid RDF or ID ... is he that good?
On Georgetown, the Plainfield superstar had this to say: “I like the . . . facilities. I like the way they run their plays, and let their point guards take control of their team.” He added that the Hoyas are “looking at . . . Tyrone [Johnson and I] as a backcourt.” This is interesting as Johnson, a class of 2011 stud, and Epps are high school teammates. Although Isaiah was not 100% sure which Georgetown coach was in charge of recruiting him, he knew it was either David Cox or Kenya Hunter.
So what does Isaiah think of the Big East anyway? “I’m really an ACC guy, but I just like certain schools from the Big East,” mentioning, “Pittsburgh, Seton Hall, Rutgers, and Georgetown.”
Epps, who indicated that he will play point guard in college, despite the fact that he may grow to 6-foot-4, does not have a clear leader between Pitt and Maryland at this point in time. When asked who he would sign with if signing day was tomorrow, he was really unsure, “I really don’t know. . . . [I'm] still thinking with my mom.”

1) he likes our facilities? he's clearly lying. 2) maryland? if there involved we don't stand a chance. 3) he likes seton hall and rutgers? he clearly has bad taste.

He's really selling himself well .. I'll have to call my boys over at St. Anthony's H.S to see if he's the real deal .. also .. his cousin is PG Travon Woodall former St. Anthony's player(Pitt recruit for next season) ... why would they tell him(Epps) he's going to start as a frosh ... wouldn't that mean Travon will be on the bench? ... lol ... Doesn't add up .. besides he's already 18yrs old!!

Wasn't it a kid at some years back that played at UNLV or Tennessee or somewhere named Isaiah Epps?

Keep an eye on Tyrone Johnson--who is also a big time HS Football prospect. I'd say Hoyas have more interest in him--and he's class of '11.

He's a jersey kid HSB so that explains the interest in Rutgers/SHU. However since he's got talent and other high major offers, neither school probably stands much of a chance He's one to monitor in 2010. We've got a lot of guards mentioning us in that class and since we could potentially end up taking 2 guards, it's good to see that we've got options.

Epps was rumored to really like Maryland's program and to the point he was expected to commit to them--then he visited and things cooled--don't know if it was on their end or Epps end.
Tyrone Johnson has already visited Georgetown for the Senior Day/Regular Season Big East Championship game against Louisville.
