Yeah, not to nitpick Joe, but there have been posts from the moderators to try and limit clutter. I know you are aware of the other thread on this game so you could have just posted it there.

I didn't see the game, but its interesting to note that Providence didn't take the Gtown approach to getting a bucket in the final seconds. WIth five seconds left, the exact time at which Cook raced down court and found the open Hibbs against ND, Providence instead took a timeout to try to set something up. BC then took a time out immediately after. Providence came out, and didn't get the 3 that it needed. I wonder what kind of look they got.

Let me add another prediction: Michigan sucks.
I wanted Providence to win--to stick it to all of those who are so worried about who is beating who for our RPI.
We're going to be 10-6 or 11-5 in the Big East. That's enough to make it people. It doesn't matter what anybody else does.

not meant in a bad way, but for the people that complain about clutter, can you reduce the size of the pictures you post with all of your threads. I have to scroll down for hours when it is a long thread.

I have to scroll down for hours when it is a long thread. I don't complain about clutter, but I did in fact ask anyone who knew how to tell me how to reduce the size of the picture I'm using (the one I uploaded was small but it comes out this size regardless). However, nobody responded, so unless you know...

You know what, screw this BS. I'm just trying to help out the moderators and mention it nicely to you and I get Edited reponses like this. Whatever, we can have 3 different threads on the BC win if you really want to but don't act like Im the bad guy because I mention something that the moderators are trying encourage.

I just don't want to see Donovan McNabb holding up the NFC trophy. Only an Eagles fan would post something after an NFC Championship.
Its totally meaningless. Losing the Superbowl is the worst possible thing imaginable. Don't jinx it by getting excited yet.
(And I hope they win. Andy Reid deserves a title.)

You wanna know the best way to avoid clutter-some threads? Not replying to them and letting them circle off the main page. The problem is that so many people are posting new threads that the first three instances of a specific thread are on like the second and third pages, and people just looking to start a discussion don't have or take the time to go look and see if any other thread contains info similar to what they want to post. There is a fundamental difference between a thread about the halftime score of a game and discussion of the final score and other things about that game. I'm not checking back to see if people have continued to post on the "halftime" thread before I post about the final. And the "Mr. Belding" thing was sort of self-referential to my prior post about people appointing themselves "board principal" or whatever...sorry if you didn't get it. I doubt anybody did. Oh well. Just please don't try to act like a moderater until your name is listed on the general board page as such. Then you can tell me what to do all you want. And Big Dog, if you're interested, please go over to the Pro Sports board and read the discussion we've had on the Eagles, their fans and their respective reactions to Sunday's win. I won't rehash it all, but in sum, I've stated that while the team itself is not satisfied, its fans feel like a giant burden has been lifted off of them (I guess I can say "us"). I don't know what (if any) pro sports teams you root for, but if you only knew the crap we (Eagles fans) have gone through over the last four years, like the stuff we've had to take from friends who are fans of other teams, for instance, you'd come close to understanding. I know all about the Buffalo Bills and their run of suffering, but in a city where the Philadelphia Eagles are the first, second, third, and fourth most important topics of discussion from late July until early February...well, this is our own 86-year Red Sox "curse". After the pain of the last three years, just getting past this point was so important, that millions like me still haven't touched the ground in three days. But like I said, I don't wanna go into it here.

haha, I'm not gonna respond the way I feel like right now because I don't feel like getting a message from Dan McQ about inappropriate language.
And one more thing, Im sick of all your crap and I won't "act like a moderater until my name is listed on the general board page as such".
Happy now A$$hole?

You guys are both current students, right? Well, I'd pay to see you guys duel in a New South-style food fight at Leo's. But hold off 'till next semester when i'm back; until then, both of y'all should grab a beer. It might make Joe less of an abrasive character and 2007 might just care about the board a smidgen less.
