Joe Mazzulla and Cameron Thoroughman were arrested Monday at PNC Park, where the Pirates were playing the Colorado Rockies. The two were in custody and awaiting arraignment Tuesday.
Mazzulla, a 6-foot-2 junior from Johnston, R.I., was charged with aggravated assault, hindering apprehension and underage drinking. Thoroughman, a 6-foot-7 sophomore from Portsmouth, Ohio, was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and underage drinking.sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=3509577With such an upstanding and moral citizen at the helm of the program, I can't possibly imagine how such a thing could've happened. Although having to watch the Pirates play can do that to people.

Hindering apprehension?
What'd he do, try to chug his beer?
(Strangely, I had a police officer encourage me to do that once).

Imagine if you can drunken and disorderly conduct on Huggy's watch. I wonder if it was Huggy's apprehension they hindered?

"Police said officers brought Thoroughman to the ground when he refused to put his arms behind his back. While Thoroughman was struggling with the officer, Mazzulla tried to grab his teammate and punched a police sergeant."
Lovely!

AND WHY THE #$%$@ DO WE HAVE A SYRACUSE BANNER ON THIS THREAD!!! The adbot must have seen the words "players arrested" in the thread title and assumed it was a Syracuse thread.

If having to sit through a Pirates' game wasn't punishment enough... The stadium is awesome though.

AND WHY THE #$%$@ DO WE HAVE A SYRACUSE BANNER ON THIS THREAD!!! Probably because the content involves basketball players committing crimes. EDIT: Hoyaholic beat me to it. WVU would be screwed if Huggins had any standards.

isn't mazzula supposed to be their starting point guard. Way for your new leader to set a good example.
