Found a pretty good article about the Hoyas from sportsline.com www.sportsline.com/collegebasketball/story/8135027Best part: The freshmen, which also includes reserve Tyler Crawford, realize this could be the start of something special. If none of them bolt early for the NBA - Green, especially, will be tempted if he keeps improving at this pace - the predictions of an also-ran Georgetown in the soon-to-be-expanded Big East will have been premature. "We talk about that a lot," Hibbert said. "All four of us together, including Tyler Crawford, we're a family, we go out together and everything. We have a bond that's special. And for four years, we're here together." Let's hope that's the case! Go Hoyas!

Whether they stay or go, get that degree...

Nothing about Cornelio. "All four of us together" Aren't there 5 frosh (JG, RH, JW, TC, and CG)? Typo, misquote? Or ...

Its a beautiful piece. Its great to see how belief in one's own ability goes a long way. We ARE Georgetown.

I wouldn't read too much into it, clearly Hibbert is referring to a group of friends within the team that hangs out together. Its not shocking that given that Cornelio comes from a different background and doesn't live with the other guys that he is not as close friends with them.
Also, even if it wasn't a misquote, there could have been a preceeding conversation with the reporter, along the lines of:
"So the four of you live together? Will you live together all four years?"
Such that the narrowing / exclusion of CG was not done by Roy, but by the reporter. This type of thing OFTEN happens in articles such as this.

living together can create that mentality, but I'm sure they're all friends in and out of practice. Especially when one of them "accidentally" eats the other's pizza....wouldn't want to face Roy (ROY ROY ROY!) when he's hungry.

That article was AWESOME. Really makes me proud to be a Hoya and support the players. A couple of things I noticed that are cool:
Makes you proud to be a Hoya, doesn't it? And it helps to quiet that nagging voice that asks if big time college sports are actually accomplishing what they should be, as opposed to just being a minor league for the pros.
That would have been an interesting couple of practices to peek in on. I have the feeling that there were some very sore bball players after those.
Has anyone seen lichoya and JT3 together? Or seen JT3 use punctuation when he types? Hmmmm.....

I really think that the four year attendance model will become the norm at GU. I really think that the educational opprotubity will be taken into consideration, and the kids will stay. We will get back to percentages of retention like we had with JT2

I sure hope we can keep our guys for all four years. However, I think that it is inevitable that many players will leave early if we once again reach the upper echelon of college teams. Hopefully Georgetown can buck the trend!
Go Hoyas!
